Well, this looks interesting. The "secret mall apartment" was discovered by mall security the year before we moved to Providence. I was already researching local stuff by then, so I heard about it and was intrigued.

Last month, I saw One Providence Place, a Mall Musical at AS220, a highly fictionalized, highly entertaining musical about the same story.

Secret Mall Apartment is a documentary that delves into the the true story of how eight Rhode Island artists turned "dead" space at the Providence Place Mall into a live/work space/art project for nearly four years. I'm excited to learn more.
