Thea's Plant Co. is located right on Broadway, and I pass it on my way home from work just about every day. One Saturday I decided to stop in and look around during the daylight. As pretty as the outside is, the inside is amazing.

The entry is eye-catching with a gorgeous standing mirror, and you can turn right or left into the former home, which now an oasis of plants and local art. The original interior architecture is still there, which makes a jewel box of things to discover.

I'm so glad they saved that incredible fireplace.

Of course the main focus is plants, and there's an abundance.

The warmth of the string lights and pale, opalescent wall color is very inviting, and a great backdrop. 

Manager Jessianna is so knowledgeable, and offered recommendations about plants and plant care that even a certified plant killer like me can follow. The website is a trove of helpful information, smartly categorized.

Jessianna also makes the felted folks in the video below. I fell in love!

I'll be going back for classes and to green-up my home space. I'm building my skills up to care for a Venus fly-trap.
