We were saddened to find that Heirloom Emporium has closed its location. I really hoped they'd make a go of it, since they had such wonderful things and Julia was so friendly. If you visited, thanks for your support.
We were on the hunt for cheesecake in Chepachet when we stumbled upon new neighbor, Heirloom Emporium!

As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by Julia, the owner. She and her husband Kevin opened the shop in July 2024.
Julia was so welcoming, friendly and enthusiastic about their offerinngs. They even offer customization options! Whether you want to modify an antique or get something personalized, they’re there to help you find exactly what you need.
Kevin has been woodworking for 20 years. Julia is relatively new to wood-turning, though she's long been a writer and artist. Their creations share space with other local artisans in an airy lavender showroom.
Heirloom Emporium focuses on local talent. About 95% of the items are crafted by independent artists from New England, especially Southern Massachusetts and Northern Rhode Island. Julia and Kevin are passionate about supporting these small businesses, and they take pride in knowing where each piece comes from.
There’s so much to check out—everything from fun and quirky items to practical and pretty ones. I totally fell for the handmade quilt frames; they even have a cutout on the back so you can see the design from both sides!
