1. Tell us about your work.
I make metal jewelry using a "forced masked patina" a system I perfected using custom vinyl masks. I've recently been interested in resin and handpainted rice paper, which I also apply to the metal.

2. Is there a story behind the name of your business?
Yes, "Ferrera" was my online avatar and persona where I met many friends and eventually my husband.

3. How did you come to be a professional artist/crafter/designer?
I've always loved to create, and it is so rewarding to see others love my designs. I enjoy using natural elements and everyday objects to create unique art pieces.

4. Where do you draw your inspiration?
From nature

5. What’s your favorite item to create?
Whatever my newest design is. My work is constantly changing since I love to experiment with different techniques.

6. What’s your best seller?
My "Shimmering Wildwood" line of patina on brass. People are fascinated by the process.
