Blast from my past...

In the early 1980s I lived in Providence for about a year and a half with my (now former) husband, while he attended RISD.  Our first child (that would be "C") was born at Women & Infants Hospital, back when it was still on Maude St. We were here from 1981-1983.

"C" is grown and on her own now, but I'm back in Providence, this time with The Bear.

Recently, C's dad sent me a picture from our time in Providence, and asked me to share it here.  This is outside the dorms at RISD, in late 1981/early 1982.

That's a young me, playing in the snow at the "RISD Beach" while Husband practiced his photography.
