I wasn't aware of Jarred's until I saw a Groupon for the store awhile back. I went with G., and it took us awhile to find the place. It's definitely off the beaten trail.

When we arrived, they had just closed for the day, although we and another couple of people had both read that the store closes at 6 on the Internet. They were very cheerful and gracious about re-opening for us and encouraged us to take our time.
Jarred's is named for the most recent of three generations of family members who own the consignment shop.

There's Jarred with his mom and grandmother.
It's a good sized store with lots of stock, mostly home furnishings and decor, a little jewelry, too. Jarred was excited to tell us that they've just begun buying gold and silver as well.

I found a great table and an antique sewing basket for Bear, both at reasonable prices, even before the Groupon kicked in.
Since it's a consignment/resale shop the offerings change regularly, and it's important to go back often to keep up with what's in stock. But it's worthwhile for the unique finds, great prices and truly friendly customer service. We could tell how enthusiastic the family is about their business.
