1. Tell us about your work : Well ... I am a Creative Spirit who dabbles in a few different mediums. I spin wool & other fibers into yarn; knit pretty things & paint lovely pictures - although, the painting/drawing has been on the back burner for a bit.

2. How did you come to be a professional artist/crafter?: I am still in the process of becoming one! I have been drawing & knitting since I was a child. The spinning came into being several years ago. I am self taught and love the tactile nature of it all.

3. Where do you draw your inspiration? My dogs! I am totally devoted to them and all rescues.

4. What’s your favorite item to make? I don't have any particular thing ... I want to make it all!

5. What’s your best seller? My "Kitchen Sink Battz" ! This is wool that I have handblended with other fun things .... glitz, silk, cotton, etc. Totally for those spinners who long for a one of a kind item!

6. How long have you been in Rhode Island? My husband & I purchased a cottage several years ago & after a recent renovation - we are here!

7. What do you {heart} about Rhode Island? Having close access to the sea. What a blessing to be able to enjoy its beauty in an instant!

8. Please include anything else you’d like to add: I believe that people are beginning to crave individuality. I think that they are tired of being told what to wear / what to own - how to dress / how to decorate. Supporting artists has become more important to folks in recent years .... people want to know where their merchandise comes from.
