Ben and Aja have the second apartment in Monohasset Mills that's been featured on Apartment Therapy in the last couple of years.
I love that they list one of their design styles as wabi sabi (a Japanese aesthetic meaning finding the beauty in wear and imperfection), since it's a particular favorite of mine, too.
Their space was originally a boiler room, so it's spacious, but wasn't originally a "homey" type place. All it took was some love, effort and furniture to bring it to its current state.

This apartment is not bad for a former boiler room. I like the brick wall behind the bed. It will be great living there!
